Communications

Elizabeth Braun Rush leads the Division’s internal and external communications portfolio. She and her team are responsible for a comprehensive strategy that illustrates divisional priorities and opportunities to SSD students, faulty, faculty, staff, alumni, the broader UChicago community, and other supporters of the social sciences. The communications team is a resource for departmental and unit websites, event publicity, media relations, and other outreach.

Prior to joining the University of Chicago in 2015, she led communications for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University and for the Woods Hole Research Center. Rush holds Honors Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and in History and a Master of Arts in Education, each from Saint Louis University.
