Professor of Political Science, Deputy Dean

Professor Albertus' main research focus is on the political conditions under which governments implement egalitarian reforms. Additional research interests include political regime transitions and stability, politics under dictatorship, clientelism, and civil conflict. 

As Deputy Dean, he helps to oversee the division’s processes for academic appointments, with a focus on instructional faculty, post docs, visitors, and others—and identify further ways in which the Division can support instructional faculty and other academic appointees.
