Tony Sansalone currently serves as the Senior Assistant Director for the Division of the Social Sciences at the University of Chicago Advancement, where he focuses on building meaningful connections with alumni and friends to cultivate lifelong engagement with the university. He holds an MA in Arts and Enterprise Leadership from the Bolz Center for Arts Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BFA in Studio Art, with a concentration in drawing, painting, and printmaking, from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

Tony’s dedication to nonprofit work began at the Mansfield Art Center in his Ohio hometown, where he managed grants and outreach programming. After earning his master’s degree, he furthered his nonprofit work as Director of Development for Wisconsin Humanities. 

Drawing on his varied experiences, Tony is passionate about advancing the vital work that nonprofit institutions bring to individuals and communities. He finds inspiration in cultivating relationships and promoting philanthropic engagement, especially in his new home city of Chicago.
