Alejandro Sabal is an economist with research interests in international trade and industrial organization. Prior to joining the University of Chicago in 2026, he was a Cowles Post-Doctoral Fellow at Yale. Sabal earned his PhD in Economics at Princeton in 2025, and his MSc and BSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
