An accomplished fundraiser with experience in building and leading fundraising programs in higher education and leading campaign fundraising efforts, Alice Barda leads a 4-person SSD Advancement team and works closely with Dean Woodward to secure philanthropic support to sustain the Division’s priorities. 

Alice began her career at the University of Chicago where she worked in the Medical and Biological Sciences Division and Foundation Relations, before joining Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business to help lead their principal giving efforts. She returned to UChicago in January 2026 from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT).
