ReproducibiliTea Journal Club: The myth of self-correction

Hi everyone,

The ReproducibiliTea journal club will be back in the summer starting this Thursday at 3pm! Our journal club has been a great place for early career researchers to discuss things in science that aren’t often mentioned, such as the movement of open science and the transformation of scientific research in current times. - check out our schedule below for our upcoming topics! https://uc-reproducibilitea.slack.com

The myth of self-correction

A discussion of Smaldino, P. E., & McElreath, R. (2016). The natural selection of bad science. Royal Society Open Science, 3(9), 160384. which calls for structural change in science that rewards understanding rather than publications.
