Alessandra Lembo
Teaching Fellow in the Social SciencesAlessandra Lembo is a postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in Sociology. She is a sociologist of culture and cognition interested in the effects of experience on perception and meaning making vis-à-vis the body. Lembo brings research from psychology and cognitive science to bear on sociological issues pertaining both to theory and culture. Her work has been published in venues such as Poetics, Sociological Forum, and American Journal of Sociology. She holds a BA in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College (2012), and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Chicago (2022).
