Alumni Relations and Development

Yasmin Omer leads a team dedicated to supporting the Division of the Social Sciences. She joined the Division of the Social Sciences in July 2019, bringing more than 15 years of experience to her current position. Immediately prior to this role, she served as Director of Development for the University of Chicago’s Library from 2013 to 2019. Previous positions included Director of Individual Giving at the Jewish Museum in New York, Campaign Gift Officer at the New York Public Library, and various roles of increasing responsibility on behalf of the major gifts efforts at WGBH Boston. Omer earned her BA in Political Science from McGill University.
