This 4-part workshop series is open to anyone and is aimed at grad students in STEM disciplines undertaking their first teaching experiences (as TAs or instructors of record). Come learn about effective and inclusive teaching strategies, with a focus on the STEM context at UChicago. Topics include how learning happens, lesson plans and learning objectives, fostering an active and inclusive classroom environment, and assessing student learning. Discuss your teaching with a supportive community of grad students and Chicago Center for Teaching and Learning Fellows in the sciences.
