CEAS Faculty Spotlight

The study of East Asia at the University of Chicago is an interdisciplinary endeavor resulting from the efforts of over 70 faculty members with specific areas of expertise from departments and programs across the university in the humanities, social sciences, and professional schools.  The Center for East Asian Studies (CEAS) serves as a nexus for such activities with programming to support CEAS-affiliated faculty and students in the College and graduate programs in disciplines of the humanities and social sciences (e.g., anthropology, art history, comparative literature, East Asian languages and civilizations, economics, gender studies, history, international relations, linguistics, music, political science, sociology, and theater and performance).
