DESIGN SPRINT GROUNDS RESEARCH IN STAKEHOLDER NEEDS

CSDS's Research Director Julia Koschinsky and Associate Professor Nicole Marwell of UChicago's School of Social Service Administration teamed up with four designers and students of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to conduct a design sprint at UChicago in August 2017. The purpose of the weekend-long sprint was to get feedback from stakeholders on their research on aligning public investments in health services with need and draft designs for the web-based interface of their analytic tools. The sprint process and some of the results are documented here.

The project is funded by the Public Health National Center for Innovations.
