The Health Economics Workshop (HEW) is a weekly interdisciplinary workshop that includes participants from the Social and Biological Sciences as well as several professional schools (Business, Law, Public Policy, and Social Service Administration) and faculty outside the University of Chicago. The workshop provides an important venue for presentation of research in the areas of health economics, medical decision-making, health services research, health policy, population health and related topics, and a forum for mentoring and professional development of students and junior faculty.
