Danielle Allen: Cuz, An American Tragedy

11/05/2017 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Rockefeller Chapel

Long-time CHF presenter, political theorist, and philosopher Danielle Allen is breaking new ground with Cuz, a family memoir that recounts the story of her cousin Michael, incarcerated at age 15 and released in his mid-twenties, only to meet an early death. Allen weaves the personal and political together in her tale, exploring the failings of both the American judicial system and family in Michael’s tragic fate.

Tickets at chicagohumanities.org, CHF member $12, general admission $15, students $10.
