Teaching Fellow in the Social Sciences (Appt: Pozen Family Center for Human Rights)

Nathaniel Gonzalez is a post-doctoral fellow at the Pozen Family Center for Human Rights where he conducts research and teaches courses related to ethnic conflict and civil society. Nathaniel received his PhD in Sociology at the University of Chicago in 2020, his MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago in 2014 and his BA in Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy from the University of Southern California in 2012. Nathaniel’s research interests include ethnic and religious identity formation, inter-group cooperation and conflict, community policing, and the relationship between democratization and communal violence.
