Kimberly Lewis Meidenbauer
Teaching Fellow in the Social SciencesKim received her B.A. in Psychology at the University of WI-Milwaukee in 2012 and her PhD in Integrative Neuroscience at the University of Chicago in 2020. She received her M.A. working in Dr. Jean Decety’s Social Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, where her research was focused on the neural and psychological processes underlying empathy and moral development. Her dissertation work was conducted in Dr. Marc Berman’s Environmental Neuroscience Lab and focused on determining the role of nature preferences in the psychological benefits of nature exposure. As a Social Sciences Teaching Fellow, Kim is teaching in the Department of Psychology and conducting post-doctoral research in Dr. Berman’s lab.
