Colin Rydell

Teaching Fellow in the Social Sciences

Colin Rydell's research interests include early modern Britain, commodity and consumption history, alternative agriculture, environmental history, the early American colonies, the history of science, and The Great Instauration. His dissertation title was "Alcohol in the Garden of Eden: Cider as Alternative Agriculture in Early Modern England," and he received his PhD from the Department of History at UChicago.
