Financial aid award letters will be sent late-July through mid-August 2018 to your @uchicago.edu e-mail address. You are responsible for ensuring that your @uchicago.edu e-mail address forwards to another e-mail address if your @uchicago.edu address is not your primary e-mail address.
Students who are enrolled in a degree program in the Division of the Social Sciences, and who wish to be considered for financial aid for 2018-19, including renewal of an existing award, must complete this application form no later than May 1, 2018.
Students should make arrangements to remove any incompletes from their transcripts. First-year students in particular should note that quality grades (not P or R) are expected. At minimum, five of the quality grades from Autumn and Winter Quarters must be posted in advance of the spring divisional performance review for the application to be considered. The aid decision remains provisional until additional quality grades for Spring quarter are posted.
Students receiving financial aid are expected to 1) be on campus three quarters during the year, 2) maintain full-time registration, and 3) devote full time to their studies.
