Environmental Health and Safety offers a variety of safety related training courses that provide information and resources you need to establish and maintain safe practices in your work environment.
Training requirements are dependent upon the employee’s specific job functions. For more information on safety training that is required or recommended for your position, please refer to the following resources: Safety Training policy, Safety Training Academy, Training Match Guide, or CATTS (Combined Access Training Tracking System).
Training courses for the current quarter have been posted and are available for registration at the University’s training website. The following training courses are now available online through the Chalk website under the “Community” tab (after log in) which is located in the upper right hand portion of the screen:
- Bloodborne Pathogens;
- DOT-In Depth Security;
- Fire Guard/Stage Fireman;
- Fire Safety and Evacuation;
- Hearing Conservation;
- Laser Safety;
- Radiation Safety Awareness;
- Radiation Safety for Nurses;
- Shipping Hazardous Materials – General Awareness;
- Shipping Infectious Substances; and
- X-Ray Safety and Awareness
