Info For: Alumni

The Division’s alumni are characterized by Chicago’s deep commitment to scientific analysis, methodological innovation, and the use of theory to extend the explanatory and predictive power of social research. They take those values with them as they enter careers in tenure-track faculty positions at top colleges and universities, banking and finance, consulting and market research, health fields, and government/policy-making, among others.

Ways to Give

Division alumni and friends provide resources necessary to realize our mission of research and education. Gifts of any size have an impact, directly supporting our faculty and students.

The Dean’s Fund for the Social Sciences is the primary source to launch most Divisional initiatives and allows us to explore creative new ways to support our faculty and graduate students. Contributions may also be directed to a particular interest. Gifts to the social sciences can be cash donations and/or gifts of securities, and by taking advantage of your employer’s matching gifts program. There are also ways to support the Division through a planned gift.
