Base pay adjustments
Supervisors appraise their employees’ performances annually in March. For monthly and biweekly, non-union employees, base pay adjustments are typically considered on or near July 1. For more information, visit Human Resources Personnel Policy Guidelines.
Payroll for biweekly employees
For instructions on completing time cards, reporting deadlines, and learning the pay periods, contact the Division’s biweekly specialist, Kwame Atiogbe at atiogbe@uchicago.edu or 4-8202. For biweekly employees in the Department of Economics, contact Stephanie Maras at smaras@uchicago.edu or 2-5079.

Monthly absence reports
Exempt, monthly paid employees report absences monthly to their supervisors. The Division’s Local Business Center maintains a database for most employees on personal holiday, vacation, and sick time accruals and use. A few units separately track absences for their employees.
