Work orders
Department and unit administrators are responsible for requesting services for minor building repairs and pest control by submitting work order requests to Facilities Services. Report major building repairs and problems to Mary Brandon, Associate Dean for Capital Planning and Programs, at m-brandon@uchicago.edu or 4-5248, or visit Facilities to submit a work order form.
Insurance
The Office of Risk, Management, Audit, and Safety manages the University’s insurance programs including insurance for property and theft and processes claims.
Fire safety training
All employees are required to take the half-hour training class on fire safety each year.
Campus emergencies
The University’s emergency management plan describes where to report emergencies, how they are managed, and how people are alerted.
