Welcome
Welcome to the Social Sciences Auxiliary Services Center.
We here at Social Sciences Auxiliary Services Center provide services that help SSD faculty and staff manage their day. Services include maintaining 6 mailrooms, duplicating documents, distributing paychecks and advices, reserving several lounges in the division, notarizing documents, receiving and distributing large packages, etc.
Dena Schroeter is the first person you’ll see as you enter our office. Dena runs the front desk and accepts and processes orders. She also handles the sale of course packets. She is kind, courteous and extremely helpful.
We also have a dutiful and precise Senior Duplicator Operator named Shelton Salley. Shelton is a long time member of the Hyde Park community and a long-time employee of the university. He’ll make copies, sort mail, make deliveries and will sometimes have his jazz band entertain at the SSD staff holiday party.
As manager, David Coleman is dedicated to providing excellent service to the Social Sciences Division. David has been with and managed the Social Sciences Auxiliary Services Center for many years.
The Social Sciences Auxiliary Services Center is located on the first floor of the Social Sciences Research Building, Room 103. The telephone number is 773-702-8797
