As you created your online application, you also created a checklist—a list of the transcripts, letters of recommendation, and other required documents you will be sending to support your application. Although you will not be able to make any changes to your application once it is submitted, you may log back into the Online Graduate Application to check the status of material you have sent in support of your application.

Please keep in mind that our office will be dealing with a great volume of incoming mail for several hundred other applications daily so please allow a reasonable amount of time for your checklist to be updated. However, if you believe an item should have been marked as received and it has not been, please contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@ssd.uchicago.edu to check the status of your material. Be sure to give your full name, the department to which you are applying, and the specific item on which you are checking.

Official admissions decisions will be sent by the Office of the Dean of Students during the first two weeks of March.
